We have the genre’s biggest stars including Adam Brand, Troy Cassar-Daley, Catherine Britt and Morgan Evans as well as giants of Blues, Folk, Bluegrass, Rock and more. Breakthrough artists are also well represented with the inclusion of 2015 Male & Females Artists of the Year, Luke O’Shea and Amber Lawrence,” said Festival Director, Jeff Chandler.

Making her Muster debut is five time Grammy Award Winning singer/songwriter, Mary Chapin Carpenter, whose two-and-a-half-decade recording career has seen her sell 13 million records and develop a remarkably loyal and devoted international fan base. Mary’s Muster appearance will be her only Queensland performance.

Joining Mary on her world tour and performing a special one-off showcase at the Muster is Tift Merrit, who has been compared to artists like Joni Mitchell and Emmylou Harris.

Blues fans are in for a treat with the legendary Ian Moss headlining the Blues & Roots Bar and in the same venue and making a welcome return after tearing down the house last year is the incendiary Mason Rack Band. What’s more, lovers of classic Aussie Rock will not be disappointed when the likes of Ross Wilson, Frankie J Holden&Wilbur Wilde and Mental As Anything hit the stage.

Adding to the excitement of today’s lineup announce, the Muster has also revealed two hot new ambassadors who can’t wait to get behind this year’s event – Australia’s current reigning King of Country, Adam Brand, and it’s brightest and most beautiful young star, fresh from X-Factor 2014, Gympie’s own Caitlyn Shadbolt.

Get ready to explore the wild frontier with Australia’s King of Country, Adam Brand

"To me, The Muster is the marquee event, the big one and to be involved at this level is fantastic. I’ve performed there more times than I can count and there’s something about it – way out there in the forest, Gympie has this wild frontier feeling that no other festival can really come close to. I tell you what; they didn’t have to twist my arm to get me as ambassador." Adam Brand

Caitlyn can’t wait to rally up her hometown at the Gympie Music Muster 2015

"It's an honour to be the ambassador of the Gympie Music Muster, especially being in my home town. The Muster is my favorite time of the year; I can't wait for this year’s festival." Caitlyn Shadbolt

Caitlyn and her family practically grew up at the Muster and like a lot of families they’ve been to the event nearly every year. With organisers announcing that this year all kids 12 and under get into the Muster free – Australia’s largest music and camping festival is now more family friendly than ever.

Just 50kms drive from Noosa; the Muster takes place in the beautifully serene Amamoor Creek State Forest where for four days and three nights, seven stages play host to 250 performances from 120 of the biggest, best and brightest stars in country music – making it a music experience like no other.

Last year saw over 50,000 fans make the pilgrimage to the near-mythical site to enjoy not just incredible country music, but also a wide range of children’s entertainment, bush poetry, bluegrass, blues, folk Americana, swing, bush and line dancing, instrument and songwriting workshops and of course – the Muster’s legendary, genuine, immersive camping experience.

The Muster is the heartbeat of everything Australian, and if you could say just one thing that sets Australia’s most authentic country music festival apart from the rest - it’s the overwhelming sense of community and mateship that is so consistently reported by attendees.
