At just 21 years of age, Mick Lindsay is one of Queensland and Australia's up and coming country music vocalists and guitarists. Mick only started playing music in 2002, hit the music scene in 2003, and hasn't looked back!! Born and bred in Toowoomba, Qld, he completd his carpentery apprenticeship early 2006. Mick worked for half the year as a tradesman, but was in demand for performances around the country and knew that that's the road he wanted to take, and is now working as a full time entertainer.

In 2005, Mick was a grand finalist (Top 8) in the Telstra Road to Tamworth, held during the Tamworth CM Festival in January, which also has lead to regular appearances on CMC (Country Music Channel) and has opened shows for various headline acts. A big year included Overall Champion Entertainer at these various annual competitions throughout S.E Qld

Mick Lindsay started 2006 on a big note, being handpicked as one of 21 artists from throughout Australia & New Zealand to attend an intensive course held annually in Tamworth at the CMAA Collage of Country Music (Country Music Association of Australia) and was tutored by artists including Brendon Walmsley, Kasey Chambers, Joan Douglas, Duncan Toombs (Adam brand, Melinda Schnider).

2007, Mick was again a grand finalist (Top 8) in the Telstra Road to Tamworth, and the year culminated in becoming a Finalist in his section in the Maton Muster Talent Search.
