Multi talented singer/songwriter Tiffney is well knowned throughout her home state of SA - she appears on a regular basis as guest artist with Graeme Hugo and Ironbark as well as many of the local bands, with appearances at the Birdwood Country Bash, Gawler Heritage Festival, Port Augusta Country Music Festival, Lake Charlegrark, Port Lincoln, St Arnaud Country Music Club, SA Showcase and most if not all of the Relay for Life venues in Adelaide and rural SA. Teaming with others as a duo at various pubs has added yet another dimension to the versatility of this in-demand young performer. Performing for just on 6 years, Tiffney has won many quests as a gospel, country rock & traditional country singer. Her 2007 endeavours have seen her bring home awards from Port Augusta, Forbes, Dubbo, Dapto as well as her most proudest - the SA Snr Championsip and her TRTT win at Melrose. She was Telstra Road to Tamworth Finalist for 2007, and NSW Jnr Champion. 2006 saw Tiffney receive first places in Snr Female vocal & Country Rock from Mt Gambier as well as the Mayoral Award for Overall Excellence and the Herbie Collins Memorial and Australian Talent Seekers Quest 2006. Currently the South Australian Senior Champion, Tiffney is a Telstra Road to Tamworth Finalist for January 2008 as well as a CMAA College of Country Music student which will culminate in a Graduation Concert at Blazes on 17th January 2008. Tiffney has many projects on the go, not the least of which is the continuance of her band - with a repertoire ranging from the classics to modern pop, country ballads and rock, they are proven crowd pleasers for all age groups. The band, 'No Worries', is appropriately named as no challenge seems to faze this young lady... she also is currently working on a project called 'Little Bit o' Country' in which Tiffney uses her skills to open up venues and events for other young performers like herself. The project debuted in August 2006 and has since become a regular monthly event at various venues. Taking time out to put together her new promo cd and to start working on her first commercial release for the Toyota Muster 2008, Tiffney, with her mum/manager Julia is also undertaking to co-produce a CD of originals based on a book of 'Bush Poetry' by a local poet David Sanderman. To attain these achievements in such a short period of time is not only acknowledgement of her talent but also of her commitment and dedication to her career and country music in this state. To Tiffney, music is a way of not only expressing your feelings, but giving of yourself in every song. |
