BREWSTER
BROTHERS
John and
Rick Brewster are founding members and the major songwriters of the legendary
Angels, one of Australia's most successful rock bands with "smash"
attendance records wherever they play. They have produced the band's classic
multi-platinum albums and they remain one of Australia's most loved and respected
bands.
In 1998
The Angels were inducted into the ARIA Hall of Fame.
A few
years ago Rick and John started a new break-away project performing acoustically
as 'The Brewster Brothers', creating an elusive new musical style that reflects
Rick's early classical piano training and John's teenage years as a folk and
acoustic performer.
Expanding
now to The Brewster Brothers Trio with the addition of multi-instrumentalist
Paul Robert Burton, the Brewster Brothers are redefining the limitations of
contemporary live musical performance.
In the
last 2 years they have recorded two CD's, four video clips, played over 250
live ticket shows, over 20 national festivals, two overseas appearances and
with the international release of their new live album, have their eyes set
on Europe.
They perform
regularly with special guests, including:
Jim Conway, Anne Kirkpatrick, Wilbur Wilde, Chris Wilson, Kevin Borich, Clare
O'Meara, Eleanor McEvoy and continue their track record of standing ovations
after all performances.
