KILLIN'
TIME
Killin'
Time originally formed as the backing band for the inaugural Muster Talent
Search, by guitarist and vocalist Phillip Vellacott. Phillip has played clubs,
pubs, was a finalist in the Gore New Zealand Country Music Awards and in the
mid 80s cut his musical teeth on a three-month stint with the Brian Young
Show, but his passion lies in traditional country and rockabilly. He currently
fronts Toowoomba-based cabaret band "Off The Cuff", and juggles
a hectic solo and teaching career.
Andrew
Kucks has been with the band since Day One, almost 20 years ago. He is affectionately
known as Toowoomba's own Piano Man and his talent and musical prowess on the
keyboard is invaluable. Together, Andrew and Phillip's stage presence is energetic
and often cheeky.
Although
Nathan Walmsley takes his place behind the drums, his vocal talent is way
out front. Nathan lives in Brisbane and also solo's on guitar when not hidden
behind the drum kit.
Jarrod
Walmsley, the youngest of the talented Walmsley family, rounds out the band
on the bass. Jarrod is currently playing with popular country rock band "The
Kelly Gang" and his vocal harmonies are a welcome addition to the band.
