Reno has recorded 17 albums over the years covering the experiences of his life. Reno has performed and recorded locally in Perth, interstate and internationally in the U.S.A. and also Mauritius.

Reno plays many instruments including the didgeridoo and has produced most of the music on his albums, although he has had many musicians such as Lucky Ocean, Hank Marvin from "The Shadows", Rabbit Eastern - slide guitar player who played for George Jones and others who played for numerous Nashville Country music singers contribute to his latest album which he hopes to release within the year.

Reno was invited in 2003 to perform at the annual reconciliation conference in Atlanta, Georgia U.S.A. and during the three months of this visit Reno recorded some of his music on CD and DVD. Reno also performed in Nashville, Tennessee and visited Graceland in Memphis, which was one of his dreams.

Reno's voice has often been compared with Elvis Presley, Randy Travis and Chris Isaacs, however, he has a style all his own. Reno was the WAMI Indigenous songwriter of the year in 1998 and was nominated for the ARIA awards in 2002 for the children's songs from the "Heartbeat' album that he wrote and produced.
