The Stetson Family are a bunch of dirt-kicking Melbourne musicians who share a love of old bluegrass classics by Rose Maddox, Flatt & Scruggs and the Stanley Brothers, mixed with some "newgrass" and high lonesome country from artists such as Lucinda Williams and Gillian Welch.
And of
course, original Stetsons songs!
Songs of the old home place, skinnin' rabbits, spending a night or two in
jail - and tender love songs, none more heartfelt than Dirty, Rotten, Lowdown,
Cheatin' Son of a Bitch!
