Volunteers

The first Gympie Music Muster was held in 1982 as a fundraising celebration of the Webb Brothers’ Golden Guitar win and has been one of Gympie’s biggest and most recognised fundraising events since. It has raised close to $15 million since its inception with money returning to the local community and various charities over the years.

The success of the event and the atmosphere that surrounds it is due to the festival being nearly exclusively run by a massive volunteer base of schools, sporting clubs and service clubs.

The Apex club of Gympie are the event organisers and over the years have had up to 50 members in the club. Unfortunately as with most clubs, numbers are dropping and the members are seeking your help to keep this iconic event on the calendar by volunteering at this year’s Muster. If you are interested in joining Apex please click here to email us or fill out the Volunteer Application to register your interest in helping out at this year’s event with various roles available.
