Toyota National Country Music Muster, Amamoor Creek State Forest Park via Gympie Queensland, 2 hours drive north of Brisbane.

Categories
Traditional Country; Modern Country; Country Rock. Maximum 2 categories per entrant.
Junior Categories include: 12 - 15 yrs, Under 12 yrs

Conditions of entry
1 No refund upon acceptance of nomination.
2 Judges decision is final. Judges sheets remains the property of Apex Club Gympie Inc.
3 The committee will have final decision on appearance times.
4 Entrants must perform 2 songs for the heats, and, if chosen, the same 2 songs plus one additional song in the Semi-Final to be held Muster Sunday August 31, 2008. Three Finalists will be chosen to appear on Main Stage Muster Sunday. The Finalists will perform 2 of the songs they performed during the Semi-Final.
5 Entrants & supporters will pay the event entry fee and Talent Search entry fee.
6 Entrants electing to perform on Thursday Aug 28 will receive a $30 Rural Aid Appeal voucher for use in the Toyota Muster on site store. Places are limited.
7 No backing tapes allowed. A backing band is available for all heats and finals - entrants need to provide charts for each member of the backing band upon arrival. Contestants may supply own backing band.
8 Semi-Finalists and Finalists must use the same backing band as used in the heat. No changes will be acceptable for the Semi-Final or Final.
9 The committee will not be responsible for artists liabilities while at the Muster, including equipment.
10 The Apex Club IncÕs decision is final regarding the acceptance of nominees and the organisation of all aspects of the Talent Search and Junior Talent Search.
11 Performers listed on the Muster Program are not eligible to enter the Talent Search.
12 *The winner of the 2009 Merritt Mountain Festival spot must confirm that he/she is able to perform by November 30, 2008. If unable, this prize and $3000 cash spending money will be offered to one of the other finalists.
13 Some prizes allocated to the winners are intended for a solo act. If a band or duo wins, one person must be chosen by the group to accept the prize (eg. scholarship to CMAA College of Country Music).
14 Entrants in Junior Sections must present proof of age as of Aug 28 to be eligible.
15 **If the overall winner has already attended or is not eligible for the CMAA College of Country Music, an entrant will be chosen by the Apex Club of Gympie Inc.
16 Entrants who win more than one category will receive prizemoney but can only compete in the Semi-Finals once.
