Newgrass All Star Showcase

Sunday closing event, Main Stage

The biggest names in Australian music will perform their favourite bluegrass songs, or a bluegrass version of one of their own songs. New this year.  Fast paced.  Something won’t see at any other music festival. Artists involved: The Davidson Brothers, Hillbilly Goats, Travis Collins, Troy Kemp, Caitlyn Shadbolt, Catherine Brit, Fanny Lumsden, Lyn Bowtell, Hussy Hicks, Kirsty Lee Akers.

Songwriter Sessions

Every day at 1pm in the Grove

3 songwriters (artists from the program) sit on stools, MC / moderator who interviews them.  They’ll play one of their songs, what inspired it, how they crafted it. Very intimate. Get to know the story behind the songs you love. Intimate setting with some of your favourite artists.

Fender Jam

Put together by our greatest guitarist Tim Gaze who has played with Aerial, Taman Shud, – really renowned blues guitar players.  Featuring guitarist and singers – each have own turn.  Backing band. Travis Collins, Reece Mastin, Adam Eckersley, Joe Robinson, Dean Ray, Linc Phelps, Matt Smith from Thirsty Merc, Simon Kinney Lewis, Mason Rack.   – It’s a jam.  Artist jam. Artists show off their skills, have a crack at different songs, Guitarists SHREDDING. Saturday in the Blues & Roots Bar.

Toyota Star Maker Showcase

12.45pm – 2pm in Crow Bar on the Saturday

The biggest country music talent quest in Australia.  We’re showcasing past winners of Star Maker Liam Brew, Kaylee Bell, Rachael Fahim, Karin Page.  Four artists that have won that event in one place – see how far they’ve come, join their journey.
