With so many must-see acts on this year’s Muster lineup, the person who picks the program picks the eyes out of it for the discerning Muster-goer.
1. VOX GUITAR JAM
International guitar icon Albert Lee will shred alongside Aussie legends Ian Moss, Troy Cassar-Daley, Lloyd Spiegel, Kevin Borich, Tim Gaze, Buddy Knox, Minnie Marks and slide player extraordinaire Fiona Boyes in the Jim Beam Blues Bar, Muster Saturday. One of the best displays of guitar work you’re likely to see this year.
2. LEE KERNAGHAN
The boy from the bush will take on Muster Main Stage Friday night. Be there on the hill with thousands of true blue, country music lovers for a massive celebration of Aussie music.
3. ROOTS ’N ALL
Muster’s first ‘Roots ’n All’ Showcase – Muster Club, Friday – featuring a swag of well renowned Australian exponents of the Americana genre. A laid-back vibe rooted in the authentic origins of country music with guitars, fiddles, mandolins and dobros.

4. TALENT SEARCH
The competition with a trip to Nashville at the end of it is the platform for our country’s best undiscovered artists. An entirely new bunch of musicians to fall in love with. Vote for your fav artist in our People’s Choice in our Facebook poll during the festival.

5. BACK TO THE BUSH BALLADS
Daily in the Muster Club, featuring Golden Guitar winner Dean Perret and a band of musicians bringing the best of bush stories through music, to Muster. A must see for lovers of traditional country music.

6. SONGS I WISH I’D WRITTEN
The not to be missed festival finale. A bunch of Muster headliners including Beccy Cole, Sara Storer, Drew McAlister, Melinda Schneider and Brad Butcher play their all-time favourite songs. Any genre, any era. Main Stage, Sunday.
7. MELBOURNE SKA ORCHESTRA
Adding a new flavour to the line-up this year is the Melbourne Ska Orchestra, we have a 26-piece band led by energetic and charismatic vocalist Nicky Bomba of ex- John Butler Trio fame. No act like this fun-loving big band has ever graced the Muster stage before – prepare to be surprised and entertained Saturday night on Main Stage.
